June 10, 2013 iGT Achieves NIST Validation for FIPS 140-2 Government Standard

iDirect Government Technologies (iGT), a wholly owned subsidiary of VT iDirect (iDirect), today announced that its iDX 2.3.1, Evolution series line cards and remotes achieved a Level 1 validation against Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2: Security Requirements for Cryptographic Modules. FIPS 140-2 validation is a requirement for any cryptographic product that is used in a U.S. government agency network such as hardware and software that encrypts and decrypts data and conducts other cryptographic functions.

January 10, 2011 iDirect Government Technologies Partners with Integral Systems to Deliver Satcom Routers and Modems to U.S. Coast Guard as Part of $10M Contract

The U.S. Coast Guard will equip its large cutter fleet with high-speed satellite communications technology, including routers and modems from iDirect Government Technologies (iGT). Integral Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: ISYS) was selected as the prime contractor and its SATCOM Solutions division, formerly CVG Inc. and Avtec Systems, Inc., will serve as lead integrator on the five-year, $10 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
